Sew-Time brings the love and knowledge of sewing, needlework, and textile design to life through our integrative classes. Sewing is a rewarding personal and professional skill that teaches discipline, safety, and lifelong creativity. Sew-Time partners with Arlington Public Schools and Kids Can Sew to provide school-age and adult-level classes in sewing and textile design.​
To enjoy Sew-Time’s classes, all our students need is a curiosity and a desire to learn hands-on skills! We offer classes for elementary and intermediate aged students, as well as for adult learners.​
Our classes prepare students for both hand and machine sewing, a versatile foundation of skills that will allow students to grow their creative talents in the areas of textile design and practical arts. Additional skills include fabric and pattern selection, textile cutting with rotary blades and pinking shears, machine sewing techniques, and more advanced needlework methods like zippers!​
